NDHU Welcomes Overseas Students to its Family (2011-09-19)

     Over 100 overseas students attended an Orientation for International and Exchange Students at National Dong Hwa University (NDHU) on September 19, 2011 to celebrate the beginning of their campus life here.
    Welcoming the new students to the NDHU family,
President, Prof. Wen-Shu Hwang, and Vice-President, Prof. Ruay-Shiung Chang, encouraged them to find fun in their learning and campus life.
    The orientation was attended by more than 60 international students from Burkina Faso, Indonesia, Mongolia, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Vietnam, Republic of The Gambia, Republic of Ghana, Bangladesh, United States, Peru, Iran, Canada, Republic of Nicaragua, and Japan, with over 60 exchange students from China and Korea. The new students were introduced to the facilities and services on the campus.
    With songs from the College of Indigenous Studies dancing team and traditional dance by students from Indonesia, the orientation marked a carnival kickoff for the overseas students at NDHU.
